MUSC Senior Expo 2025
All seniors, families, caregivers and service providers are invited to attend this free event to learn about some outstanding resources available in the Lowcountry.
Top MUSC physicians and researchers will be on-site to offer complimentary health screenings, including fall risk assessments, bone density, and hearing screenings. The Expo will also feature live, interactive presentations throughout the day, and exhibitors will be available to help seniors and their families navigate everything from moving to financial planning.
Admission and parking are free and there will be parking lot shuttles.

Jason D. Flatt, PhD, MPH (Pronouns:He/Him/They/Them) is an Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Public Health, Department of Social and Behavioral Health. Jason’s $5+ million-funded National Institutes of Health research portfolio works to better understand health concerns and needs of diverse sexual and gender minorities or LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and additional identities) people living with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and their caregivers and care providers.

Dr. Christopher Engeland, Ph.D., is the President of Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society; Professor of Biobehavioral Health, The Pennsylvania State University. Research is focused on how stress, age, gender, and hormones affect immunity, inflammation, and health. He has a particular interest in wound healing and surgical recovery, dementia, depression, and preterm birth.
