Biography

Dr. Benitez is an Associate Professor of Neurology at MUSC. She is a clinical neuropsychologist and a research scientist, conducting patient-oriented research of Alzheimer’s disease using psychometric and MRI methods. She actively teaches graduate students and mentors trainees in research, in addition to serving as Associate Director of MUSC’s Translational Science pre-doctoral program.
